Building relationships with public officials is an on-going process. Whether it's convening grantmakers with a member of Congress, the Governor or a Cabinet official, OGF builds bridges to policy makers in order to help members identify key entry points for their own activities and interests. These bridges also serve as a conduit for information exchange from policy makers to members, allowing for interchange of key legislative priorities as well as best practices gleaned from grantmaking programs.

The Ohio Attorney General is responsible for overseeing the state’s charitable foundations. Registration and reporting forms and regulations can be accessed on the site, as well as sections of the Ohio Revised Code that apply to grantmakers and informational brochures.
