Presenter Karen Bailey, director of public affairs, Penn National Gaming
Moderator George E. Espy, president, Ohio Grantmakers Forum
Last fall, Ohio voters approved a Constitutional amendment that permits the development of casinos in Toledo, Columbus, Cincinnati and Cleveland. While casinos in Columbus and Toledo are not slated to open until 2012, Penn National is already beginning its philanthropic activity in the regions. How will Hollywood Casino and Penn National Gaming become involved in our communities' philanthropic and nonprofit sectors? Join Karen Bailey to learn more about the company’s giving philosophy, how they structure their giving, what they look for in organizations they fund, and how they plan to collaborate with local funders. The meeting will also be an opportunity for Ohio funders to acquaint Penn National with the philanthropic and nonprofit landscape in the region.
OGF thanks Toledo Community Foundation for hosting the Toledo program.
