Matching gifts programs are one strategy businesses employ as part of their corporate responsibility activities. Matching gift programs generate a substantial stream of dollars to all kinds of nonprofit organizations as they motivate individual employees and retirees to give – or give more – because they know their gifts will be increased by their company’s charitable contributions.  Matching gifts are also an important way that employees can play a role in directing the company’s philanthropy in their local communities across the U.S. and globally.

In this statewide webinar, OGF members Eaton and Lubrizol will share the details of their significant matching gifts programs. By attending this webinar you will:
  • Be exposed to two examples of how Ohio corporations structure and implement matching gifts programs;
  • Learn about the hurdles they faced and how they overcame them;
  • Hear about how their programs shape the company’s giving focus; and
  • Share what you are doing and seek advice.
